What inspires Elham about design is being able to craft experiences that create connections and give value to individuals. A digital product designer with entrepreneurial experience, she has worked with various startups as a researcher and designer, presented papers in international design journals and conferences, and holds an MA in Industrial Design and an MDes in Interaction Design.

An innovative thinker and problem-solver, Chen has a penchant for digesting complex sets of information and translating the results into intuitive user experiences. Brands he has worked with include Livi Bank, KFC, HSBC, and Rolex.
June was a UI/UX designer and illustrator for the NYC Office of the Mayor, and US and Canadian startups. She has led TEDx curation that was showcased at TED Summit in Scotland to inspire the global community, written for Canadian magazines, presented at the Canadian Writing Center Association Conference, and has a background in community event production in Vietnam.
MIKAYLA HAYLIE KAYA
Motion + Layout Design
Haylie has held education and design positions in Hawaii, and was a Communication Designer at Microsoft headquarters. She holds a degree specializing in Animation, Interactive Design, Video Graphics, and Special Effects at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
Marva enjoys crafting meaningful and unique experiences for people through human-centered design practices, uncovering their needs through user research, and solving complex problems. With interests in user testing and iterative prototyping, she holds a Masters in Human Computer Interaction from Uppsala University (Sweden's first university) and credentials in usability testing, augmented reality, game development, and fine arts (sculpture).
Cindy is a Project Lead & Facilitator for Vancouver Design Nerds Society creating interactive spaces throughout the city. Holding a Master of Architecture from University of Calgary, she explores new ways design and architecture can contribute to equitable spatial developments. She envisions design as an integral tool to help create a foundation for people to come together, spark empowerment, and provide a voice and sense of place to every type of community.

Chris' unconventional background in engineering and construction as a certified technologist enables him to approach his painting and audiovisual installation art practices from various viewpoints and follow a flexible pedagogy. He is an instructor in Canada's creative community, and was the Program Coordinator at New Media Gallery.

With a degree in Communication Design, she has experience in web, graphic, social media, and mixed reality.
Heather has a background in spatial computing with an interest in sculpture and landscape architecture, which has led her to pursue Industrial Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design where she took over as Co-organizer for its long running TEDx event series.
While an independent photographer, Brittany has held coordination roles supporting the research, creation, and exhibition of socially relevant and politically informed creative practices from artists at all junctures of their careers, while enabling a public engagement with artist-run culture and contemporary art.
